Imprisoned for killing a Friend
Daniel was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment after killing his friend in a drunken brawl. He was released on parole and came to NICRO for assistance after numerous failed attempts to find employment. He has extensive experience in the glass industry. After the worker spoke to him, the worker realized that he was very motivated to maintain the changes he had made with regards to his behaviour. He had done various courses whilst in prison, including a course to deal with his drinking problem.
Daniel also has numerous certificates for the Life Skills courses which he completed. The worker saw him on three separate occasions and each time the worker was impressed by his level of motivation. A contact number was given a number by another worker for a possible job placement. The client was successfully placed with possible options for him to get into the glass industry.
